'John and Tena Schneiderman Family

John Schneiderman, son of Henry and Hattie Groen was born in 1910 on a farm 5 1/2 miles south of Lennox. Tena, daughter of George and Grace Begeman Poppinga, was born in 1907 on a farm 3 miles northeast of Davis in Turner County.

They were married June 24, 1931. The first six years they lived on a farm 1 1/2 miles east of Lennox. Then they moved to the Schneiderman farm south of Lennox. John's birthplace. They still live on the same place.

On June 24, 1981, they were married 50 years. They have three sons: Russell, Merle, and Keith, and a daughter Bonnie.

The boys all enlisted in the service and Bonnie was a school teacher.
