Remda Elcock, 93, of Lennox, died Friday, May 22, in the Lennox Good Samaritan Center.

Remda Schneiderman was born December 14, 1898, on a farm south of Lennox, the daughter of Henry E. and Hattie (Groen) Schneiderman. She married Edward J. Elcock on July 31, 1920 at Lennox. They farmed south of Lennox and retired in toLennox in 1960. Her husband preceded her in death on November 16, 1973. She continued to make her home here until she became a resident of the Lennox Good Samaritan Center on October 25, 1988.

She has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lennox.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Lawrence Robert Elcock on March 11, 1948; one brother, Ed Schneiderman; two sisters: Jennie Cavin and Abbie Knock.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Delmer and Lydia Elcock of Freeman, and Clifford and Phyllis Elcock of Lennox; 12 grandchildren, including a granddaughter Judy Elcock, who made her home with her for several years; 19great-grandchildren; one brother, John Schneiderman of Lennox, and one sister, Hattie Nuttbrock of Willow Lake.

Private services were held Tuesday at Dindot-Klusmann Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ekanger of Humboldt officiating. Burial was in the Lennox Cemetery. Her grandsons served as pallbearers."
