Dorothy Koestler, 66, of Puma Gorda, Florida died Saturday, September 11, 1993 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Services were held in Punta Gorda on Wednesday, September 15 at the Royal Palm Funeral Home in Punta Gorda.

She was born April 14, 1927 to Theodore Jr. and Elizabeth Albers. She attended and graduated from the Buffalo Center High School in 1944.

Dorothy married Merwyn E. Koestler August 3, 1947. She retired in January of 1993 after 20 years of employment with Charlotte County Clerk of Courts office in Fort Myers, Florida.

Memberships include the BPO Elks"

Survivors include her husband, Merwyn of Punta Gorda, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. John (Marilyn) Roth of Hazel Green. Wisconsin; a son, Merwyn Koestler Jr. of Ohio; her mother, Elizabeth Albers of Buffalo Center; two sisters, Arlenc Fieldsof Ankcny and Gladys Sheldon of Clear Lake; five brothers, Edwin and Merrill of Buffalo Center; Gerald of Janesville, Wisconsin; Donald of Broomfield, Colorado and Dennis of Albia; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Albers Jr. and grandson, Robert Roth." <>
