"Funeral Services Held March 15 For Henry Albers

Funeral services for Henry Albers, former resident of the Woden community, were held Tuesday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Woden, with the Rev. Bruce Calbearth officiating. Mr. Albers died at HancockMemorial Hospital at Britt last Friday following several month's illness, A prayer service preceded the church services at the Boughton Funeral Home in Britt.

Mr. Albers was born at Titonka, the son of Theodore and Jessie Albers. He was married March 4, 1909 to Mary Smith. They farmed near Woden until retiring to Britt in 1958.

Surviving are his wife, four sons, Theodore of Buffalo Center, William of Hartland, Minn., Raymond of Woden, and Ernest of Artesia, California; two daughters, Mrs. Miiford (Margreta) Hanna of Thompson, Mrs. Michael (Mabel) Eadlicek ofBritt; There are 27 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother, Theodore of Buffalo Center, four sisters; Dora Loats, Maggie Boekelman, Minnie Jutting, Bertha Smith, all of Buffalo Center.

Two sons, two brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.

Burial was in Buffalo Center Cemetery." <>
