I have conflicting data. A source shows Thodorus Albers buried at Ramsey Ref. Chr. Cem. Graceland lot owners documents has the following:

"GRACELAND BLOCK A Lot Number 110 Date 3/9/14 Lot size 20 by 6 by 20 by 3 Deed issued to Theo Albers Persons buried in the lot - Geeska Albers, Theodore Albers, Gretje Smith, William Smith, Johnny Albers, Leora Loats, John Lamping Jr.[handwritten: No stone]"

Theodore Albers wife is Geeska Van Heuvelen. John Lamping, Jr. might be an otherwise unknown son of Gepke Albers Lamping. Gritje Smith may be Theodore Albers' sister. William Smith is Gretje Smith's husband. William & Gretje Smith have a grandson, John Albers who died in childhood. My records show, however, he is buried in Woden. - D.A. ""FLU" CLAIMED ANOTHER VICTIM LAST FRIDAY Theo. Alters Taken After Complications Make Recovery Impossible

With deep regret the passing away of Theo. Albers was received last Friday afternoon when the news spread from one to another that Mr. Albers had silently and submissively obeyed the summons of a Higher Hand. Being a victim of the "flu"he was seized with the much dreaded disease-pneumonia, and every possible care and medical service was rendered to him, but in vain. In his suffering he held up manfully until his spirit took its flight! to its maker.

Mr. Albers was born in Weener, Ostfriesland, Germany on the 17th of November, 1857. In 1873 he came with his parents to America. After living in Butler County, Iowa, for 10 years the family moved to Kossuth county. The 22nd day of May,1879, be was united in holy wedlock with Grace VanHeuvelen. This union was blessed with 11 children, 5 sons and 6 daughters, of whom one child preceded him in death. In 1905 he and his family moved to Buffalo Center, where he resided up to the time of his death. For a number of years he conducted a meat market in this city after he retired from farm life. Mr. Albers had the respect and friendship of all with whom he was connected in a business way, being a man of sound business judgement and progressive ideas. He was taken ill the 26th of December and passed away quietly and peacefully on the 4th of January, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 18 days. His departure is mourned by his wife, 4 sons and 6 daughters, 35 grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children, one brother, 2 sisters and by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at one o'clock at the Reformed Church conducted by the Rev. J. H. Schoon and interment was made in Graceland cemetery. Many came to pay their last respect to a departed friend.

The deep, sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved wife and relatives."
