"OBITUARY OF GEORGE ALBERS
George Albers, long a resident of the Good Thunder community, and a former resident of the Buffalo Center community, was laid at rest Saturday in the cemetery at Good Thunder, Minnesota. He died at a Mankato, Minnesota, hospital onWednesday, He had been in ill health for about three years, however death came at a time when he was thought to be recovering.
George Albers was born in Ramsay Township, Kossuth County, Iowa on October 7, 1884. He was baptized, received his early training and spent his youth there."

"On September 15, 1915, he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie VanDyke at Buffalo Center, Iowa, where the couple made their home until 1930 when they moved to a farm near Good Thunder, Minnesota. He continued farm, work until illhealth forced him to retire. He had resided in Good Thunder since March, 1945.
At the time of his demise he was 62 years, 1 month and 13 days old. He was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran church; funeral services were conducted by Rev. P. J. Seltz.
He is survived'by his wife, six sisters and two brothers: Mrs. John Lamping of Thompson, Iowa; Mrs. George Smith, Mrs. Harm Boeckholt, Mrs. Lambert Boekelman, Mrs. Hio Loats, Mrs. August Jutting and Theodore, all of Buffalo Center; andHenry Albers of Woden, Iowa.
Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were: Mrs. Jessie Boeckholt and Wilbert, Mr. and Mrs. L.
