"Everett, son of Albert and Gepka (Fririchs) Sleper, was born in September of 1895; he died in 1980. Andrea Hauskins, daughter of Ben and Anna (Towe) Hauskins, was born in May of 1885; she died in 1969."

"Everett and Andrea were married, and the parents of six children: Alfa (Hertzke) was born in 1920 and lives in Lakota. Marian (Dontje) was born in 1922 and lives on a farm near Lakota. Norman was born in 1924 and died in 1988; he was aparatrooper in World War II and a retired welder for Bethlehem Steel. Lillian was born in 1927 and died in 1944, one month before she was to graduate from high school. Lorraine (Stewart) was born in 1927 and lives in Roseville, Minnesota. Verdean was born in 1935 and was killed in a car accident in 1958."
