If pg 424 of the Buffalo Center book is correct, then the year is 1905. 'Glenn [Tjaden] married Mary Catherine Meridith in Havelock, Iowa on December 28, 1963, on the day of Glenn's grandparents' 58th wedding anniversary.'

'Maggie, the seventh child [of Henry & Gretje (Nordman) Heitland] in the family of ten, married John A. Sleper of Titonka, Iowa on December 15, 1904; they raised a family of four daughters and two sons namely, Gertie, Grace, Alma, Henry,Albert 'Bo,' and Harriet. They spent their early married life in Titonka where John managed the elevator for a number of years. They then moved to a farm two miles west and four and one-half miles south of Buffalo Center in KossuthCounty. There they remained until retiring in Buffalo Center for the remainder of ther lives.'
