Anna Marie Card, age 83, of Parkersburg, Iowa, was born the daughter of Jake and Mildred Hippen on September 2, 1934, Wellsburg, Iowa.

She was united in marriage with Donald Truax and later divorced. To this union seven children were born, Keith, Terry, Debra, Sandy, Lonnie, Scott and Sherri.

Anna married Larry Card. The couple made their home in Parkersburg. Anna worked many years at HWY 20 Café in Parkersburg.

Anna attended the First Congregational Church in Parkersburg. She enjoyed feeding the birds, being with her cats and collected coins.

Anna died Friday, June 1, 2018, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, from natural causes.

She was preceded in death by one son, Terry Truax; one daughter, Debra Behrens; 1 great-granddaughter, Alexis Behrends; her husband, Larry Card; her parents; and two brothers, Delbert and Raymond (Mary) Hippen; and her mother and father-in-law, Leslie and Verna Truax.

Anna is survived by three sons, Keith (Pam) Truax of Waterloo, Lonnie (Linda) Truax of Waterloo, and Scott (Molli) Truax of Waterloo; two daughters, Sandy Truax of Parkersburg, and Sherri Truax of Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 21 great great-grandchildren; and one niece, Marilyn (Jerry) Adelmund of Parkersburg.

Anna Marie Card, age 83, of Parkersburg, died Friday, June 1, 2018, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, from natural causes.

Graveside Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg is in charge of arrangements.
