"Buffalo Center, Iowa. they farmed in the Buffalo Center area for fifteen years until buying a farm two miles west of Titonka in 1945. They moved to that farm in March of that year. they farmed until Ted passed away August 2, 1966.Emma remained on the farm until March of 1967 when she moved into Titonka. In April of 1977 Emma entered the Titonka Care Center, making her home there until her death on November 4, 1988.

Ted and Emma had two daughters, Marlene and Judy.

MARLENE married Edward Uken September 25, 1955. They farmed west of Titonka, Iowa. Two sons were born to them, Gary and Leslie.

JUDY married Lamont Junkermeir April 7, 1967. They purchased the farm that Ted and Emma owned. They still live and farm there. They have two children, Tracy and Troy."

Obituary of Ted T. DeBoer, Jr. 57

Funeral services for Ted T. DeBoer, Titonka area farmer, were held Thursday afternoon, August 4 from the Titonka Methodist Church. Mr. DeBoer passed away at his home southwest of Titonka at 1:30 a.m., Tuesday of a heart attack.

He was born June 25, 1909 on a farm northwest of Titonka, the son of T. T. DeBoer, Sr. and Minna Ubben DeBoer. He married Emma J. Adams on December 23, 1930 at her parents' home at Buffalo Center and lived on a farm near there until 1945when they moved to their present home.

Surviving are his wife; tow daughters, Mrs Ed (Marlene) Uken of Titonka, and Judy at home; two grandchildren; on brother, Ubbe DeBoer of Frost, Minn.; two half-brothers, George of Minneapolis, Minn., and Claus of Buffalo Center; threehalf-sisters, Mrs George Anderson of Montrose, Mrs. Arthur Rode of Titonka, and Mrs Jim Loehr of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents." <>
