OBITUARY: GRACE LIEUWEN BARKEMA, Grace Lieuwen, nee Lieuwen, was born Nov. 9, 1897, in Iowa Township, Wright County, IA, and died at one o'clock Monday morning, August 26, 1929, at the Lutheran Hospital, Hampton, IA where she was takenthe evening before. ... On November 2, 1915, she was united in marriage to Hauko Barkema, who survives her with seven children, five boys and two girls, namely, ... Leo, ..."
