"Funeral Held Henry Kuper, Retired Farmer

Henry Kuper, 76, of Corona, a Twins Brooks area retired farmer, died at the Whetstone Valley Nursing home Friday.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Mundwiler Funeral home with Rev. Reuben Wiegert conducting the rites. Burial was in Osceola cemetery at Marvin.

The son of German immigrants, Peter and Jennie (Green) Kuper, he was born August 2, 1896 at Grundy Center, Iowa. He attended school at Grundy Center. He moved to Twin Brooks with his family in 1921. On September 22, 1925, he marriedThelma Rude at Summit.

Mr. Kuper operated the Yellowstone Trail garage at Marvin until 1930 when he and his wife and family moved to a farm near Twin Brooks. They farmed together there until 1963 and then retired and moved to Corona where have lived since.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; two sons, Neil, of Aspen, Colo., and Dean, of Custer; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Padgett, of Aberdeen, and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Tietjen, of Corona; 10 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. John (Hattie) Konstant, of Milbank.

Pallbearers were Lester Dobson, Alvin Jansen, Harm Buus, William and Ed Harms and Rueben Beilke."
