Donald and his wife lived at Fairfield for many years where they owned and operated a large dairy and stock farm. Don and Helen were faithful and constant church workers, both in the neighborhood and at the nearby town of Gervias. They later attended services in Gervias since the old Fairfield Church had succumbed to the raveges of time, and had been razzed.
