Mozes Bloemendal, Max genoemd, wordt op 5 januari 1909 geboren in Amsterdam op het adres Nieuwe Kerkstraat 135. Hij is het tweede kind en de oudste zoon van Benjamin Bloemendal en Pietje Mendels.
Max werkt als kelner .
Hij trouwt op 1 juli 1936 met Clara Coster, 31 jaar oud en geboren in Rotterdam. Zij wonen in de Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam en krijgen twee kinderen, Benjamin, geboren op 2 mei 1938 in Amsterdam op het adres Vechtstraat 28/1 en Emanuel geboren op 16 november 1940. Samen met zijn vrouw Clara Coster en zijn twee kinderen komt Max op 19 juli 1942 aan in Kamp Westerbork. Deportatie naar Auschwitz volgt op 5 oktober 1942.
Clara wordt direct bij aankomst in Auschwitz samen met de twee kinderen vermoord. Max komt om in Duitsland, vermoedelijk op 10 februari 1945.
