Hartog Bloemendal, Harry, genoemd, wordt op 25 juni 1919 geboren in Amsterdam op het adres Rembrandtplein 4. Harry is het vierde kind van Benjamin Bloemendal en Pietje Mendels.
Harry is handelsreiziger. Hij trouwt op 11 februari 1942 met Bloeme van Beem. Zij is dan 21 jaar oud en dochter van Jonas van Beem en Esther Cohen. Bloeme is van beroep regenjassenplakster. Ze trouwen in de synagoge in de Rapenburgerstraat. Harry gaat graag op bezoek bij zijn zus Betje in Gorinchem.Hij kan goed opschieten met haar man.
Vanuit kamp Westerbork schrijft Harry bij de joodse jaarwisseling 1943-1944 een briefkaart met daarop "Gelukkig Nieuwjaar".
Uit deze briefkaart blijkt dat hij in de strafbarak, barak 67 zit. Hij is op 23 september 1943 in het kamp aangekomen. Zijn transport naar Auschwitz volgt op 19 oktober 1943, vermoedelijk samen met zijn vrouw Bloeme van Beem.
Hartog Bloemendal komt op 31 maart 1944 om in Auschwitz.
