Benjamin Bloemendal is het eerste kind van Mozes Bloemendal en Clara Coster.
Benjamin is het eerste kleinkind in de familie Bloemendal. Hij krijgt nog een broertje Emanuel op 16 november 1940.

Beide kinderen komen op 19 juli 1942 vanuit Amsterdam, samen met hun ouders aan in kamp Westerbork. Op 5 oktober volgt transport naar Auschwitz. Benjamin en Emanuel worden tegelijk met hun moeder in Auschwitz vermoord op 8 oktober 1942.

De foto van kleine Benjamin is gedateerd 21 januari 1939 en gemaakt in kunstatelier "De Boer" Pretoriusstraat nr. 50 in Amsterdam.
