In Memoriam:
Lucas Vos werd geboren te Valthe en is daar altijd blijven wonen, een sterke band met zijn geboortegrond was hem niet vreemd. Tot zijn 59e ging hij op in het boerderijwerk, dat hem goed lag. Hij volgde de ontwikkelingen in de landbouw en was in het bedrijf vooruitstrevend bezig. Naast zijn werk nam hij tijd voor paarden (keuringen, Markten), voor sport en uitstapjes. Verder leefde hij op zijn eigen bescheiden wijze mee met het familie- en dorpsleven. Door bepaalde gebeurtenissen (sterfgevallen van een oomzegger en een broer) veranderde zijn leven. Het werd zwaar, mede door een ziekte die zich openbaarde. Gelukkig heeft zijn vrouw hem een geweldige steun gegeven.
