Albertus woonde naast en werkte op de boerderij van zijn vader. Fokte samen met zijn broers mooie paarden. Heeft in de gemeenteraad van Odoorn gezeten.

In zijn overlijdensakte wordt geschreven dat hij commissionnair van beroep was.

In Memoriam:
Onze ouderling Albertus Vos verloor na een smartelijke ziekte zijn vrouw Baukije Vos in de leeftijd van slechts 43 jaar en ruim 6 maanden. Zij was enige jaren lang de zeer gewaardeerde kraamverpleegster der afd. Groene Kruis Odoorn e.o.; ook vielzij meermalen voor de wijkverpleging in. Zij had een doortastend, ijverig en opgeruimd karakter. Enige jaren lang, vanaf 19 April 1948, was zijeen toegewijd leidster bij onze Zondagsschool. Op dappere wijze droeg zij haar ziekte. De nooit aflatende hulp van de schoonzuster der overledene moet hier met name genoemd worden. De Heer van alle leven blijve met Zijn Troost en Hulp man en kind en familieleden nabij.
