Familie Pool
De achternaam "Pool" komt in verschillende delen van ons land voor, met verschillende herkomsten. Mijn familie is van oorsprong afkomstig uit Ruinen. In 1754 komt voor het eerst de naam Pool voor in het Haardstedenregister van Ruinen. Rond 1800 vertrekt de familie naar Smilde, naar het werk in het veen. Aan het eind van de 19e eeuw trekken ze verder, zoals velen, naar Zuid-oost Drenthe, het werk in het veen achterna.

De informatie van deze stamboom is afkomstig uit Alledrenten, Wiewaswie en het boek "Stamboom en geschiedenis van de familie Pool" van T. Pool uit Bovensmilde.
