Zij trouwde Wies van Rooij, uit (Belgie) die bij Van Puijenbroek werkte. Op 26-07-1938 vertrok zij naar Poppel waar het echtpaar ging wonen. Henk Spierings (de kleinzoon van Drik Spierings en Hanneke Eijsermans) vertelde hierover: Tante Fien overleed al op betrekkelijk jonge leeftijd. Ik kan mij nog herinneren dat ik met onze Piet en onze Pa direct na de bevrijding te voet naar Tante Fien in Poppel gingen. De bossen lagen nog vol met niet opgeruimd oorlogstuig dat je vanaf de weg kon waarnemen, en snel begraven soldaten.
