Hendrikus Josephus (Harrie) Spierings. geboren op 07-04-1914. Ook hij werd schoenmaker en volgde de opleiding aan de Ambachtschool in Tilburg. Na deze opleiding ging hij werken bij Van Arendonk schoenfabriek in Tilburg. Later ging hij bij zijn vader in de schoenmakerij werken en deed ook de schoenenverkoop in de winkel. Hij volgde ook de opleiding voor Schoenwinkelier, want dat hoorde toen nog bij de vestigingseisen.
Hij trouwde met Toos Sterk uit Arnhem. Zij was toen dienstbode bij de fam. Scheffers, waar Harrie regelmatig kwam om de gerepareerde schoenen te bezorgen. Na hun huwelijk vertrok het stel voor korte tijd naar Poppel. Eenmaal teruggekeerd gingen zij wonen in de Kloosterstraat in Goirle in een oud hoekhuisje naast Garage Spijkers. Toen deze huisjes en garage werden gesloopt gingen zij wonen in de Weth. Vekemansstraat en later in de Van Malsenstraat. Harrie Spierings overleed in het ziekenhuis aan een hartaanval op bijna 65-jarige leeftijd op 16-02-1979. Toos Sterk is ruim 90 jaar geworden en overleed op 04-08- 2005. Hun zonen Jan Spierings en Theo Spierings werden als tweeling geboren.
