'John Dorenbush was born in Germany in 1855. He married Martha Boyenga in 1881. They came to America four years later and located in Grundy County, Iowa. they moved to Buffalo Center in 1904. Mrs. Dorenbush passed away soon after theymoved into the town of Buffalo Center.

"MARIAN SMITH, EDWARD HEITLAND EXCHANGE VOWS

The marriage of Miss Marian Smith and Edward Heitland was solemnized Thursday afternoon, August 9 at the parsonage of the M. E. church at Nora Springs. The Rev. Mura officiated at the services when these young people plighted theirmarriage vows in the presence of their witnesses, Anton Heitland, a cousin of the groom of this community and Miss Grace Teisfeld of Mason City.

•All their lives these young people have known one another; both having been born and reared to 'young manhood and. young womanhdod in the vicinity of Buffalo Center. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Smith of thiscity and the groom is, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Heitland, now residing on a farm near Thompson.

The young couple have gone to housekeeping at 16—13th St. N. W., Mason City. Mr. Heitland is employed at Decker's packing house.

Mr. and Mrs. Heitland have a number of friends in Buffalo Center and Thompson and they with the Tribune join in wishing them all happiness andjoy in their wedded life." <>
