Mamma vertel my vanmiddag dat Kleinouma nog jare na haar man se dood ‘n grrot stuk grond besit het agter haar huis Hoofstraat 419 in die rigting van die Bergrivier. Dit is later verkoop en die Laerskool WA Joubert daarop gebou. Sy het dit na haar man se dood lank verhuur aan Louw van Dammetjie wat elke jaar ‘n aartappel oes daarop geplant het. Hy was glo baie suinig en howel die aartappels welig gegroei het en ‘n baie goeie oes opgelewer het, het Kleinouma blykbaar altyd net ‘n baie klein handjievol gekry!
