Text: Article published Feb 27, 2006 Donald Phillabaum COSHOCTON - Donald "Don" Phillabaum, 76, of Coshocton, died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
Born May 7, 1929, in Fresno, he was a son of the late Lester Bert and Virgie Mae (Lewis) Phillabaum. ... On June 1, 1953, he married Virginia C. Lapp, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Keith (Missy) Phillabaum of Coshocton; two daughters, Mitzi (John) Brunnegraff of Coshocton and Cheryl (Jeff) Wilden of Fresno; five grandchildren, Matthew and Nicolas Brunnegraff, and Todd, Dustin and ElissaPhillabaum; step granddaughter, Heather (Brent) Huff; step great-grandson, Lane Huff; one brother, Paul Phillabaum; two sisters, Roseann Buker and Linda (Paul) Gardner, all of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews. ..."

Lester Bert Phillabaum, 74, Fresno, died at County Memorial Hospital at 1:05 p.m. Sunday following a short illness.
Born May 23, 1903, in Fresno, he was a son of George W. and Sophia (Kutcher) Phillabaum, both deceased.
He worked for more than 40 years for three different railroads, Wheeling and Lake Erie, Mickel Plate and Norfolk and Western, retiring in 1967.
He attended the West Lafayette Baptist Church. He was married Dec. 16, 1924, to Virgie Mae Lewis, who preceded him in death Jan. 15, 1961.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Wilma Phillabaum, Fresno, Mrs. Ray (Roseann) Bunker, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Paul E. (Linda) Gardner, 716 Highland Blvd.; three sons, Lester J. of Albuquerque, N.M., Donald T. of 653 Wilson Ave., and PaulR. of Pearl; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Durant, 912 Cassingham Ave., Mrs. Harry (Florence) Johnson, 228 N. 14th St., and Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Roof, 420 S. 10th St.; two half-brothers, Alex Phillabaum, 117 E. Russell Ave., WestLafayette, and Ruland Luke, Canton; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, five brothers, one sister and a half-sister are deceased. ..." <>
