"Baptist Church in Buffalo Center with the Rev. Brian Burck of Temple Baptist Church, Thompson officiating. Interment was in Olena Mound Cemetery with Winter Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Casketbearers were Mathew Meinders, Eugene Meinders, Gene Brass, Ricky Folkerts, David Folkerts and Dennis Folkerts. Mrs. Vera Bronleewe was the organist and music was by Tom and Becky Thompson.
Fred J, Meyering was born April 22, 1926 in Buffalo Center to Tony and Annie Meyering. He lived with his family in the Buffalo Center area.
He married Dorothy Meinders on July 23, 1947 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Thompson.
Mr. Meyering was a retired farmer and had been living in Thompson for the past seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Thompson; three sons, Sherman Meyering, Garner; Larry Meyering, Thompson; Tim Meyering, Forest City; his mother, Annie Meyering of Buffalo Center; a brother, Johnnie Meyering, Clear Lake, threesisters, Everdena Folkerts, Thompson; Fannie Smidt, Buffalo Center and Annie Wepel, Buffalo Center and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Meyering; his brother, Richard Meyering and a son, Roger Meyering." <>
