Funeral services for Annie Meyering, 89, of Buffalo Center were held Saturday morning, December 19, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Buffalo Center with Rev. Gary Bergman officiating. Interment was in Olena Mound Cemetery withWinter Funeral Hohie of Buffalo Center in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Meyering died Wednesday, December 16, 1992 at Timely Mission Nursing Home."

Annie Meyering, daughter of Fred and Minnie (Fisher) Brass was born June 20, 1903 in Burdette, Iowa. She attended country school in the Buffalo Center area.
On September 23, 1925 she married Tony Meyering. They resided northeast of Buffalo Center. Annie enjoyed embroidery and crocheting. For the past two years she resided at Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center. ... She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tony; two sons, Fred and Richard; one son-in-law, Harold; a grandson, Roger, and by two brothers, Aeilt and William." <>

She is survived by her children; Everdena Folkerts and husband, Meno, of Thompson; Annie Wepel of Buffalo Center, Fannie Smidt of Buffalo Center, Johnnie Meyering, Sr. and wife, Phyllis, of Clear Lake and a daughter-in-law, DorothyMeyering of Thompson; one sister, Alice Hoffman of Winnebago, Minnesota; and 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tony; two sons, Fred and Richard; one son-in-law, Harold; a grandson, Roger, and by two brothers, Aeilt and William."
