    Joannes Pontzeele, brouwersgast, oud vijf en dertig jaren, geboren en woonachtig te Bornhem, welke ons vertoond heeft een kind van het mannelijk geslacht, gisteren om vier uren en half namiddag, geboren in deze gemeente, van hem verklaarder en van zijne echtgenoote Albertina Steensens, huishoudster, oud dertig jaren, hier geboren en woonachtig, en aan welk kind hij verklaard heeft te willen geven den voornamen van Joannes Franciscus.
    De voormelde vertooning en verklaring gedaan ter tegenwoordigheid van Franciscus Verhasselt, hoofdonderwijzer, oud negen en veertig jaren en Ludovicus Josephus Brys, hulponderwijzer, oud vier en twintig jaren, beiden woonachtig in deze gemeente.
    Waarvan akte, door ons ten Gemeentehuize in dubbel opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend met den vader en de getuigen.

    Joannes Pontzeele, brouwersgast, oud vijf en dertig jaren en Joannes Verdickt, brievendrager, oud acht en dertig jaren, beiden woonachtig in deze gemeente, de eerstgenoemde vader van den overledene en de tweede gebuur, welke ons hebben verklaard dat heden om zes ure des morgends in zijne ouders woning alhier overleden is Joannes Franciscus Pontzeele, geboren te Bornhem, den achttienden mei dezes jaars en daar woonachtig, zoon van den eerstenverschijner Joannes Pontzeele en van Albertina Steensens, herbergierster, oud een en dertig jaren, woonachtig in deze gemeente.
    Wij hebben ons van voormeld overlijden verzekerd. Waarvan akte, in dubbel, door ons ten Gemeentehuize opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend met de verschijners.
