Trijntje is geboren Achter de Muur bij de Poelestraat en gedoopt op zondag 23 maart 1783 in de Martinikerk in Groningen. Van haar zijn geen verdere gegevens bekend.
Achter de Muur Alle straten achter de oorspronkelijk middeleeuwse stadsmuren hebben in 1874, op één na, een eigen naam gekregen. Gerekend vanaf de Vishoek: Hoekstraat, Muurstraat, Hardewikerstraat, Hofstraat, Singelstraat, Schoolstraat. De huidige straat Achter de Muur loopt van Poelestraat tot Gedempte Kattendiep, onder meer langs de achterzijde van het Pepergasthuis. De buitenmuur van het gasthuis aan deze straat is het enige nog resterende deel van de middeleeuwse muur.
