Omschrijving: Het graf van Josephus Benedictus van Besouw op het r.k. kerkhof aan de St. Jansstraat te Goirle. Jos van Besouw werd geboren te Goirle op 17 februari 1872 als zoon van fabrikant Gerardus van Besouw en Johanna van de Lisdonk. Na zijn priesterwijding op 19 december 1896 was hij kapelaan te Best, rector van de franciscanessen te Oirschot, pastoor te Zevenbergen en rector van de ursulinen te Vught. Daar overleed hij op 18 februari 1932. In Best, waar onder supervisie van J. Nouwens, norbertijn van de abdij van Heeswijk, in 1902 het eerste R.K. Hanzengilde van Klompersmakers werd opgericht, was Jos van Besouw geestelijk adviseur van dit gilde.
