Dale Wesley Ferdinandsen, 72, of Lake Charles passed away at 12:20 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a native of Mobridge, SD and lived in Largo, FL for many years prior to moving to Lake Charles in 1980. Mr. Ferdinandsen was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Cusi Ferdinandsen; one son, Butch Ferdinandsen; two daughters, Grace Ferdinandsen and husband Jay Garbo all of Lake Charles, and Kathy Richards and husband Don of Houston, TX; one grandson, Jack Henry Richards; one brother, Richard Ferdinandsen and one sister, Virginia Ferdinandsen. His Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2010 in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Reverend Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM, Friday, in the funeral home.
