It is my hypothesis Grietje "Maggie" * 29 Jan 1880 & Grietje * 31 Jan 1880 are representations of the same individual. It may be she was baptized first at the German Reformed Church then, after her mother remarried, at the Dutch Reformed Church - D.A. Navorska - iii May MMXXII - in proximo Grove, OK.

Maggie Wientjes Mulder Birth 1880 Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois, USA Death 1920 (aged 39 - 40)
Mound City, Campbell County, South Dakota, USA Burial East Lawn Cemetery Sheldon, O'Brien County, Iowa, USA Memorial ID 46044502

Maggie Wientjes was born in 1880 (or 1879) to Albert and Anna Ina Julia (Becker) Wieman in Freeport, Illinois. Her father died when she was an infant, or even before she was born. Her mother remarried Klaus Wientjes in Illinois. They then lived in Sheldon, Iowa, and later Campbell co, South Dakota.

This is where Maggie married Albertus Mulder in 1906. They had 4 daughters.

Tragically she was killed in a car accident the whole family was in; they all survived but turned upside down in mud which she inhaled and later died of pneumonia. She was brought to Sheldon Iowa to be buried, where many of her siblings and parents later were also.

Her parents interestingly moved back to Sheldon later in life, as did her husband but then back to SD when he was ill and lived with a daughter at the end of his life, where he is buried.

Much of this information is from the "Norway Lutheran Church, 90th Anniversary Book 1885-1975, Glenham, SD" There are very detailed write-ups of their members including her husband Albertus Mulder and her step-father Klaus Wientjes.
