Mary Jane McKee

Former Muncie resident, Mary Jane Pittenger McKee, 64, died Thursday in Hill Haven Health Care Center, Yuma, Ariz.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to Helen and Kenneth Pittenger. She moved to Muncie as a young girl and graduated from Central High School in 1944. Mrs. McKee was employed for 21 years by the Ontario Corp. before retiring in 1984.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Harold R. McKee; a sister, Leora Jackson, Peru, Ind.; a brother Gerald Pittenger, Yuma; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Debra) DeHaven of Muncie and Janet McKee of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Darci and Drew DeHaven, both of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Yuma. Donations may be made to the Muncie chapter of the American Diabetes Association. Cremation will be observed.
