'Funeral Today Jarvis Pittenger Funeral services for Jarvis Pittenger, 82, retired engineer of the Muncie Water Works Company, who died Saturday at the Woodlawn nursing home, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Meeks mortuary by the Rev. A. W. McDavitt. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary. Mr. Pittenger resided at 224 1/2 North Jefferson street.'

The 12th of May was on a Saturday. The following Tuesday was on the 15th. I am using the date of the funeral as the date of burial.
