"KENNETH E. PITTENGER OBITUARY
EX-MUNCIE RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Kenneth E. Pittenger, a former Muncie resident died Friday morning in Santa Cruze, California. He left Muncie about 20 years ago and while here was employed at Indiana and Michigan Electric Co.

At the time of his death he was a leutenant in the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Muncie Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his mother Mrs. Helen Pittenger, Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Harold McKee, Muncie, and Mrs. Robert Jackson, Peru; his wife Eleanor (Parker); two daughters, Mrs. David Bateman and Mrs. Helen Cicy, Santa Cruz; a brother Gerald Pittenger, Scotts Valley, Calif; and several nieces and nephews.
