Martha Ricks was born November 18, 1907 at Buffalo Center, the daughter of Heiko and Henrietta (Johns) Adams. She was married to William Stroebel, who preceded her in death in 1941, on October 6, 1938. Then, on December 27, 1956, shewas married to George Ricks at the Ramsey Reformed Church, rural Titonka.

She is survived by her husband, George; one son, Marvin Stroebel of Titonka; on daughter, Mrs. Donald (Doris) Brozie of Hibbing, Minn., four grandchildren and one brother, Marion Adams of Buffalo Center.

Preceding her in death were her husband, William, an infant son, two sisters and one brother."
