Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Green who passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, April 10, at | the home of her brother, Ernest i Okken of Grundy County, Iowa, ; were held Tuesday afternoon, April 13, at the local Baptist church with theRey. Peter Peters and Rev. Geo. Wolff in charge.

Interment was in Graceland cemetery. ... On March 9, 1892, she was married to Mr. Sydney Green and they moved on a farm in this vicinity. Four daughters and one son were born to them, the son, Sydney John, died in 1917. Also her husband preceeded her in death exactly twentytwoyears to the day. ..."

"Grace G. Wubben, 80

Funeral services for Grace G. Wubben, 80, of Buffalo Center were held Monday morning, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Buffalo Center with Rev. James Brygger officiating. Interment was in Olena Mound Cemetery with Winter Funeral Service in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wubben passed away Thursday, November 17 after a lengthy illness.

Casketbearers were Bruce Wubben, Rodney Wubben, Richard Wubben, Neil Wubben, Clyde Honken and Leslie Wubben. Mrs. Vera Bronleewe was the organist and music was by Bruce Wubben, Neil Wubben and Mary Behrends accompanied by MervinGramstad.

Grace Gertie Green was born May 3, 1903, the youngest child of Sydney Green and Anna Okken Green, on a farm south of Buffalo Center where she spent her early years and attended the rural school.

She took teacher's training at Estherville, a branch of the Cedar Falls Teacher's College, after which she taught for several, years in the rural schools of the area. She was also a faithful teacher for the American Sunday School Unionfor many years.

In her youth she was baptized by George Siemens at the First Baptist Church in Swea City. She attended the First Baptist Church of Buffalo Center faithfully until her health failed. She was united in marriage to Fred Wubben on February27, 1933. They farmed in Winnebago and Kossuth counties until the death of her husband in 1973 after which she made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Clarice Wubben and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by one sister, Anna Honken; two sons, Joseph and Sidney; two daughters-in-law, Clarice and Rosella; , three grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-grandson."
