'OPAL RUNGE 1911-1998

Opal Runge was born April 11, 1911 at Lake Preston, South Dakota. She was the daughter of John and Maggie (Hinders) Green. After two years the family moved to Twin Brooks SD. She was received into God's Kingdom of Grace through theSacrament of Holy Baptism in 1914 at the Presbyterian Church of Twin Brooks by Pastor Jensen. She was confirmed in her Christian faith on April 6, 1928 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Corona SD by Pastor Huesner.

Opal was united in marriage to Carl Schneck on August 6, 1926. To this union God granted three sons: Harlow, Victor and Harold. On November 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to George Runge. She lived in Milbank in retirement andfound much joy in her flower gardens.

Opal was received into God's Kingdom of Glory on November 11, 1998 at the age of 87 years and 7 months. She is survived by two sons: Harlow and his wife Lavonne of Milbank and Harold of Mandan ND; eight grandchildren; fourteen greatgrandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Opal was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Victor Schneck; four brothers and five sisters.

Opal's physical body will be laid to rest in the Milband City Cemetery in the blessed hope of the resurrection of the body to everlasting life. This hope is made secure by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.'
