WEBSTER CITY - DeLoris J. Schaa, 88, of Webster City formerly of Kamrar, went home to be with the Lord Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Wright County Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday May 24, 2010 at the Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, Iowa with Jeff Schaa officiating. Interment will follow in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kamrar, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.

DeLoris was born January 12, 1922 the daughter of William and Lena (Greenfield) Huisman in Kamrar, IA. On March 10, 1938 DeLoris was united in marriage to Harold Schaa in Kamrar. The couple made there home on the farm southeast of Kamrar.

DeLoris enjoyed volunteering, going on different tours, gardening, sewing, making noodles and attending church activities. She enjoyed gathering with friends for a cup of coffee or to play different games including; Skipbo and Aggravation. She was very devoted to her devotional and prayer time every morning.

Those thankful for having shared in DeLoris' life include her children; Keith (Sonia) Schaa, Judy (Karl) Watne, Brenda (Dean) Peterson, Randy (Kim) Schaa, one sister; Marjorie Pannkuk, two brothers; Floyd Huisman, Ronald (Roberta) Huisman, sisters in law; Harmina Huisman, DeAnn Huisman, 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Schaa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Wilbur Huisman, Elton Huisman, Sterling Huisman and a sister in law; Sharon Schaa.

Bruce-Graham Funeral Home, Fort Dodge is in charge of arrangements.
