Lila never married . Lila attended Hamilton County schools and grew up inthe Kamrar-Jewel area. In 1943 she moved to Woden, Iowa where she spentmany years teaching piano lessons. In 1954 she moved with her parents toForest City, Iowawhere she continued teaching piano and organ lessons.Besides her teaching she was employed in various department stores inForest City. She was also employed for Dr. Milford Hocum and WaldorfCollege. Lila accepted Jesus Christ as herpersonal Savior at a young age. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was aSunday School teacher for many years and served as organist on Sundayevenings. She loved music, especially playing the organ and piano at thesame time.She also enjoyed her many flowers and gardening.
