'RIPPENTROP, GEORGE J. 1892-1966 RIPPENTROP, ANNA SWALVE ____-1931 ... ... To this union nine children were born. The older children received their education in the German Valley School. The family had membership in the Ramsey Reformed Church.

In March of 1931 the family moved to a farm one mile west, but continued to work the land on the two farms. ... July 9 of that year the thirty-six year old mother died after giving birth to her ninth child. The surviving children ranged in ages from two to sixteen years of age. ...
