    New York, July 3 -- Stricken with heart disease while attending a pre-4th of July celebration at the Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, N.J., Saturday night, Benjamin Nicoll, old-time polo star, dropped dead, it was learned today.  Mr. Nicoll was a brother of DeLancey Nicoll.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Lord Nicoll, his daughter Mrs. John Sloane, and his son Courtlandt Nicoll of Morristown.
