IVArnold II, de 4de graaf van Loon van 1125/1135-1138/1141. Hij werd niet meer in de oorkonden vermeld na 10 april 1138, en ten laatste op 6 april 1141 deed hij afstand van het graafschap Loon. Hij was tevens burggraaf van Mainz (D) en heel waarschijnlijk ook graaf van Rieneck (D). Tijdens zijn korte regeerperiode stichtte hij de abdij van Averbode (bij Diest). Zoon van Arnold I (zie III) en N.N.

Der Sohn Arnold II. war mit einer Frau verheiratet, deren Vorname nicht bekannt ist, die aber mit den mächtigen Pfalzgrafen bei Rhein verwandt und Erbin einer Burg Rheineck bei Andernach war. Die Burg Rheineck lag zwar damals bereits in Trümmern, aber nach ihr nannten sich die Grafen nun "von Loon und Rieneck" und unterstrichen damit nicht nur ihre vornehme Abkunft, sondern auch ihren Anspruch auf die Pfalzgrafenwürde.
