Notes about Alie "Alida Petronella" Kramer

Liefde vanaf de school. Alie en Hannes zijn een voorbeeld hiervan. Eerst heel stiekem, met briefjes door zusjes overgebracht, maar gewoon doorgegaan. Na school, als haar Moeke haar nodig had voor de was, bezig in het huishouden en voor de rest vonden Heit en broer Pé dat Alie nodig was op het Libra-kantoor, en moest ze daar zijn. Tot haar trouwen heeft zij in een dubbelfunctie gewerkt.
Hannes heeft na zijn schooltijd als smidsleerling bij smid Rekers met ijzer kennisgemaakt. IJzer, en zeker roestvrij staal heeft zijn verdere leven beheerst. Na zijn diensttijd als marinier, later korporaal der mariniers in wat nu Indonesië is, heeft hij als machinebankwerker bij Douwe Egberts enorm veel machines gerepareerd en gebouwd.
Alie en Hannes betrokken na hun huwelijk een woonark naast het erf van boer Idzinga bij de tabaksloods van D.E. Toen er een huisje vrijkwam in de Krússtege zijn ze daar ingetrokken. Maar toen de zussen van Alie dit huis gingen slopen, hebben ze met Ety en Grego een tijdje in een pand aan de Molenweg gewoond. Na even aan de Pastorielaan gewoond te hebben, zijn ze in het huis van Hannes' ouders aan de Bûtsingel getrokken. Juni 2009 overleed Alie heel plotseling na een korte ziekte. Op haar bidprentje schreven de kinderen: "Moeke was een hele zorgzame, bescheiden lieve vrouw en beppe. De koffie stond altijd voor iedereen klaar. Ze was vol belangstelling en liefdevol voor haar kinderen en kleinkinderen. In het gezin waren eenheid, gelijkheid en gezelligheid belangrijk voor haar."
Hannes ging, na een dienstverband van bijna 40 jaar bij Douwe Egberts, op zijn 57e met vervroegd pensioen. Fietsen, klaverjassen en zingen bij het kerkkoor St. Caecilia waren zijn favoriete bezigheden.
