== Biography ==Governor William Bradford wrote a history "Of Plimouth Plantation." It contained a list of the Mayflower passengers and a list of the increasings and decreasings from these passengers thirty years later say 1650/1.

}}He stated that Peregrine White had two children at the time of the listing. One was Daniel born about 1649. The name of the second child is not in any of the surviving records. === Joseph ? ===In 1995, Robert S. Wakefield, FASG, suggested that this second child was Joseph White of Marshfield, who was killed during King Philip's War. The only White families in Marshfield at the time were those of Resolved and Peregrine. Resolved's children are known. Joseph was of an appropriate age to be the son of Peregrine.Wakefield, Robert S. 4 Mar 1672/3, George Russell was fined ten shillings for a misdemeanor toward Joseph White.Shurtleff, Nathaniel B. Joseph White and Samuel Holmes, both of Marshfield, took a complaint to court 4 July 1673. The complaint was against George Russell. White and Holmes built him two chimneys and not only did he not pay for the work but he didn't adhere to his end of the contract, which was to supply extra labor and goods for the job. Joseph, was killed 26 March 1676 on the banks of the Pawtucket River. Captain Pierce and about fifty men were killed by the Indians. Joseph died without any known issue.
