Samen kregen ze twee zonen en een dochter: Jacob, geboren in 1909 en de tweeling Sjaak en Elisabeth, geboren in 1907. Het gezin woonde aan de Brugstraat 169 in Wijk A. Op 18 mei 1943 is Cato de Lange uit kamp Westerbork vertrokken. Wanneer ze daar aangekomen is, is niet duidelijk. Op 21 mei 1943 is ze in Sobibor vermoord. Cato de Lange-Coster is 69 jaar oud geworden. Op 23 oktober 1946 wordt van dit overlijden melding gemaakt. De gemeente Raalte ontvangt van het Afwikkelingsbureau Concentratiekampen van het Rode Kruis in Den Haag een brief waarin staat dat Cato de Lange-Coster op 21 mei 1943 te Sobibor is overleden. Ook haar man en haar kinderen hebben de oorlog niet overleefd.
