Roelf Vos (bakker) is tijdens de oorlog bij mijn ouders Egbert en Pietertje Vos geweest om te vragen of Pietertje nog naalden voor een ronde breimachine had. Roelf zijn vrouw Lina had ook een ronde breimachine, maar geen reserve naalden meer. Pietertje had er nog voldoende om er een paar af te staan.
