Her first husband was Lowell Thomas Moore, born in Feb 1894, Ind. In 1930, they lived in Detroit where Ivy worked as a radio entertainer. In 1940, they lived in Lawrence Co., Ind., where Lowell was a theater owner.

Ivy married her second husband, Peter Henry Bontsema, on Aug 19, 1953, in Mitchell, Ind.

She and Peter owned a number of movie theaters in Indiana, and both had been involved in some aspect of entertainment during the 1920s and 1930s.

Iva was cremated, and her ashes were buried in the Mitchell City Cemetery in Mitchell, Ind., next to her first husband, Lowell. (Thanks to Darren Norrington for providing this information).
