Note: The following note was in the Hull News section on page 5 of the Thursday, January 6, 1944 Sioux Center News, Sioux Center, Iowa

Relatives received the sad news that Mrs. Waldo Riebeling of near George had died Jan. 1st of heart trouble and complications. She formerly was Anna Gruis and would have been 31 years on March 8th, 1944. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband Waldo and daughter Viola Mae who was 2 years in August. Also her mother Mrs. Gruis of George and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the home and Hope Ref. church, Rev. Herman. Rosenburg her pastor officiating. Several relatives of Hull attended.

Anna's death notice was reported on page 6 of the Thursday, January 6, 1944 Alton Democrat, Alton, Iowa.

Relatives received the sad news that Mrs. Waldo Riebelink of near George had died Jan. 1st. She formerly was Anna Gruis and would have been 31 years old on March 8th, 1944. She leaves her husband Waldo and daughter, Viola Mae, who was 2 years old in August, also her mother, Mrs. Gruis of George and 2 sisters, Mrs. Paul Sapp of Colfax.and Harriet Grnis [Gruis ?], who attends college at Pella. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home and at the Hope Ref. church, Rev. Herman Rosenburg, her pastor, officiating. Several relatives from Hull attended the services
