Ronald D. Berhow age 70 of Rockford, MN passed away at his home on December 22, 2013. Funeral service on Friday, December 27, 2013 at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael, MN at 2 PM. Visitation from 12-2 PM also on Friday at the chapel. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Rockford, MN.

Ron was born on April 10, 1943 to Floyd & Jessie (Lamping) Berhow in Scarville, IA. He grew up in New Richmond, WI where he graduated from New Richmond High School. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of Union Local 417 since 1966, working as a sprinkler fitter, retiring in 1998. Farming was truly a passion for Ron & he pursued this passion by working with Joe Vergin on his farms in the Rockford/Buffalo area for 25 years. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV & fishing with his grandsons.

Preceded in death by his parents & sister, Lovella.

Survived by sons, Steven (Saysong) Berhow of St. Michael, MN, Jeff (Jennifer) Berhow of Otsego, MN; daughter, Lisa (Barry) Rathbun of St. Michael, MN, stepson, Ryan Nalewaya & stepdaughter, Nikki Irwin both of Mound, MN; 10 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Gulaine Elwood of Amery , WI, Eugene (Myrtle) Berhow of Omaha, NB, Marvin (Mavis) Berhow of Humboldt, IA, Larry (Karen) Berhow of Eagen, MN.
