"10-Day-Old Son Passed Away

Funeral services for Roger Dean Meyering, 10-day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyering of Thompson, were held Tuesday afternoon March 23rd, at the Schutter & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. H. F. Senne in charge. Burial was in Olena Moundcemetery. The deceased was born March 11, 1948 at the Dolmage hospital and 10 days later passed away in a Mason City hospital. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyering and grandparents, George Meinders and Mr. and Mrs.Tony Meyering and two great-grandmothers, Mrs. Dick Steen and Mrs. Fred Brass, besides a host of other relatives." <>
